Being a critical student

A good, brief video from the University of Leicester on what we mean when we ask you to be "critical"

Really good video. It's interesting to me since I'm studying at Massey just now and they have a different way of class lessons here. It's a lot more discussion orientated with people bouncing ideas off each other and not just getting your advice from the tutors.

I think the experience i have of being over here is that you're encouraged more to speak your mind at Massey Uni. more than DOJ and not just accept a few individuals ideas.

You have to learn to be critical in a society that brings you up to obey orders, that the teacher is always right, and I find it hard to do so if you have never been taught or have been encouraged to be critical.

Group discussions is a must!
