It's been a bit quiet on here recently, for all sorts of reasons (one of them being that Twitter seems to have taken over as a means of sharing links quickly).
But over Christmas I'm hoping to move this blog over to WordPress and relaunch it with, hopefully, some new writers.

Why the move to Wordpress Jonathan? I tried going over to that myself but, despite the failings of Blogger, dedcided that Wordpress wasn't really any better. I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on it though.
I also thought about downloading blog software and hosting the blog myself so I had total control over layout etc. Have you considered that?

Better multiple author support (I'm hoping to turn it in to a student "magazine" type thing) and easier layout customisation, mainly... Also allows for static "About us" pages, and potentially better integration with Twitter.
I'd personally recommend against hosting your own blog. A lot of WP accounts were hacked recently and recovering the blogs has been a real pain for people. If your blog is hosted elsewhere there'll be backups in place and they keep the software updated (the hacked blogs were all running old versions of the software because updating is such a pain!)
Blogs are so informative where we get lots of information on any topic. Nice job keep it up!!
